Dublin Airport big changes as passenger locator form to move with fliers warned

The COVID-19 passenger locator form is set to move to an online-only system, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly announced.

Starting July 12 passengers travelling to Ireland from abroad will have to complete the form online in advance of travel.

Mr Donnelly said: “Moving to an online-only passenger locator form is integral to our system of COVID public health messaging to passengers after arrival to Ireland."

Taoiseach Micheal Martin announced yesterday that Ireland will not miss the July 19 deadline to begin operating the digital pass to allow travel within the EU – and rejected suggestions the bloc’s Digital Covid Cert would not be ready for use.

He said that travel for foreign holidays should be allowed in two weeks.

Ireland is the only member state where the digital cert system is not running.

He said close to half of the people who are able to get the vaccine will be fully vaccinated by today.
