Dublin Airport take down Luton rivals in hilarious fashion after new DART unveiled

Dublin Airport have taken down their Luton rivals in typical hilarious fashion after the English hub unveiled their new "DART" train.

The Luton DART, short for Direct Air-Rail Transit, is set to whisk passengers from the airport straight to Luton Airport Parkeay train station and set them on their way to London.

But, after a little teasing on Twitter, Dublin Airport felt they had to weigh in on the awfully-familiar name that Luton had chosen.

They wrote: "Hey Irish Rail, didn’t Oscar Wilde say that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness”.

"The Luton Airport people are claiming we said it was ok to call their people mover DART.

"A) We didn’t & B) We’re not in charge of the world. (Yet.)

"Anyway, it can’t be a proper DART until it has The Commitments singing “Destination Anywhere” and it crosses the Liffey. #BleedinChancers."
