Dublin Airport summer travel: Full list of EU green cert countries allowing Irish tourists for holidays

With international travel from Ireland set to resume fully on July 19, all EU countries will be removed from the mandatory hotel quarantine list.

The EU digital green certificate for travelling between member states is to come into effect on July 1.

But what will the EU digital green cert show?

The main goal of it is to show authorities that you've either been vaccinated against Covid-19 by one of the approved vaccines, supplied a negative PCR test, or shown you've recovered from Covid 19 infection.

The cert is also to provide a consistent lifting of travel restriction across the EU. Each national authority will provide green certs to its citizens for free.

They can be stored on your phone or printed on paper if you'd prefer. Both versions will have a QR code that will provide all the necessary information for the authorities.

Currently, six countries have already started to issue green certs. They are:

• Czech Republic
• Denmark
• Germany
• Greece
• Poland
• Croatia

There's a long list of countries that are in the process of joining the EU green cert program.

They are categorised as "technically ready" and their borders will reopen on July 1, subject to their individual Covid situation.
