Dublin Airport's new flying guidelines explained as 41 airlines announce 140 destinations

Dublin Airport is just days away from the return of non-essential international travel and so have unveiled their new safety guidelines for passengers.

Only those flying out will be allowed in the terminal from now on and this also applies to arrivals while markings have been placed across the floor inside the terminals to give guidance on social distancing.

All facilities throughout the departures and arrivals areas are regularly cleaned throughout the day. There are also hand sanitisers strategically placed throughout the airport.

Face masks are required on your entire journey through the airport. If you forget yours, there are a number of vending machines in the airport that sell them.

Your security experience has also changed.

You are asked to use hand sanitiser before and after going through security. There are also floor markings to maintain social distancing. All trays and equipment are disinfected regularly.

If you're looking for a bite to eat before your flight you'll notice some changes. There are fewer seats available in all food outlets. Table service and grab and go are the options available to you when walking through the terminal.

Plexiglass screens are positioned throughout food outlets, with social distancing monitored by staff as well as floor markings.

If you're looking to pick up some deals in the duty-free section, then you'll notice that the layout has changed. It has been reorganised so it's now contactless while maintaining social distancing.

Dublin Airport has also confirmed that 41 airlines will be flying out of Dublin when international travel resumes with flights to over 140 destinations across the globe.
