Dublin Airport's hilarious response as person asks if they can bring unusual item on a plane

Dublin Airport's admins again showed their humour on Twitter after being asked about bringing an unusual item through security.

A woman was hoping to bring frozen fish through security for her flight, using frozen eel as the example.

And while the item is unlikely to be frozen after a trip to the airport and on a flight - the airport admin said there should be no issue.

The woman had said: "quick l question, are you allowed to bring frozen fish, eg. Eel through customs?"

Dublin Airport replied: "Are you codding? Sorry, that should be fine if from another EU country.

"Eel meat again ... don’t know where, don’t know when ... (We’re here all week.)"

The airport account has been dealing with quite a few strange requests recently - last week another passenger asked if a wok was allowed.

The passenger who dubbed the question as "silly" herself asked if she could bring a wok (yes for cooking) through security in her carry on bags.

She wrote: "Hi I would have a silly question. I'm in a moving situation and I forgot few thing to pack in. Can I bring in my luggage? I mean a wok (yes a wok) and a baking tray?"

They wrote: "Yep. That should be fine. Just wok this way through the security check on departure and onward to your aircraft."
