Dublin Airport passenger fuming after being served 'worst Guinness in history of humanity'

Ireland may be the birthplace of Guinness, but one airline passenger has slammed one of the country's major airports after being served a truly terrible pint.

Travellers over the pond to the emerald isle might expect to be served the best Guinness on the planet, but one thirsty visitor was left disappointed after receiving a pint of the stuff with massive head.

Pictures show what in Ireland is known as the 'Bishop's Head' or Bishop's Collar' - a pint that's been pulled all at once that results in a head that's far too thick.

Typically, the head on a pint of Guinness should be somewhere between 18 and 20mm. The foam on the pictured abomination takes up almost a third of the glass.

The photo of the drink was shared on Instagram, questioning whether the offensive pint really was the worst one ever served.

They said: "Is this the worst Guinness in the history of humanity?

"Shame Dublin Airport, shame."

The bad pint has been considered a "crime against Guinness", with one person saying: "Whoever served that up should be sacked straight away!"

Another wrote: "This pint would keep me awake at night if one of my staff members served a pint like that to a customer."

How to pour a pint of Guinness

Make sure you have the correct glass - typically a tulip shaped glass.

After that you've got to get a good 45 degree angle.

Pull the tap back the whole way and fill up 4/5ths of the pint.

Then you've to let it sit for two minutes - this is crucial.

After 120 seconds fill the rest up by pushing the tap forward - draw circles on the pint to evenly spread.
