One Dublin Airport hotel is offering "test, rest and fly" services as fliers are offered bed and breakfast as well as a Covid-19 test.
Carlton Hotel is offering a one night stay for passengers supplying a test that informs them in less than 24 hours whether they have tested negative for coronavirus.
Packages start at €249 with the test completed well in advance before their flight is due to take place.
Tests will be returned within 24 hours, or 36 hours at weekend and in out of hours times, and they are also offering a "test and rest" service for people flying into Ireland.
Prices for two guests sharing a room and taking a test at the hotel is set to be over €400.
The Carlton Hotel has partnered up with Vida Care with their website stating that the tests are "fully compliant with government guidelines".
The website says: "Vida Care offer a PCR swab test which detects active presence of the virus i.e. shows that you currently have Covid-19.
"These are the tests currently used by the HSE and are approved by the Department of Health (DOH). They are fully compliant with government guidelines.
"Vida care are highly trained, industry recognised healthcare professionals offering the assurance of Covid-19 testing with results given from 24 hours."
It comes after a Dublin Live exclusive yesterday that Irish travellers were fearing that they would not get home for Christmas after a crackdown by airlines.
Passengers booked on services from Sweden, Switzerland, London, Spain and Lanzarote were told their flights were axed but that they can have a refund.
And if more flights are put on near Christmas,they will be very expensive.
