Dublin Airport hosted a Covid wedding today as a stunning couple married in a private terminal.
Nicola Kennedy and Jamie Cope had a one-of-a-kind celebration as they were married in the Platinum Services Dublin Airport.
A small wedding party attended the service today which was the first of its kind to take off in the VIP terminal.
The Platinum Services consist of luxury private suites and complimentary menu, among many other elite services.
Dublin Airport tweeted pictures of the event, and said: “Warm congratulations to Nicola Kennedy and Jamie Cope who were married in Platinum Services Dublin Airport today.
“We often welcome honeymooners heading away, but they’re the first couple to marry in our private terminal.”
As of June 7, 25 people can attend a wedding celebration or reception. Weddings of 50 people are allowed from July and 100 guests can be welcomed in August.
June 7 was the largest easing of restrictions so far following on from the May 10 and June 2 liftings.
It's has been one of the most exciting for people and publicans across the country as it's such a big step back to normality.
Streets have been pedestrianised and paths have been extended with the goal to provide as much space as possible for pubs and restaurants.
Further easing of restrictions will take place on July 5 and July 19 with the final easing sometime in August, subject to public health advice.
