
A fire has broken out on the roof of a hangar in Dublin airport, with flights in and out of the international transport hub suspended.
It is believed that the fire broke out at around 7.15am on Wednesday morning. Dublin Fire Brigade and Dublin Airport fire crew are attending the scene, with four pumps, environmental unit and an incident commander present.
Dublin Airport has advised people to check with their airline for the most up-to-date flight details.
"The fire is in a hangar in a restricted area of the airport, which is separate from the passenger facilities," airport authorities said in a statement posted on the airport's website on Wednesday morning.
There have been no reported injuries. It remains unclear what started the fire.
