Dublin actor and former MMA star Cathal Pendred has announced his engagement to TV presenter Síomha Ní Ruairc.
Cathal took to Instagram to share the news with his 28.4k followers - and revealed that she popped the question to him on Leap Day, February 29.
According to RSVP Live Pendred posted photo of the couple together at Ashford Castle, with the caption: "If there was ever a woman to adhere to an old Irish tradition, it’s this one.
"On the Leap Year day, 29th of Feb, she popped the question and brought me to the most incredible place in Ireland to celebrate.
"Exiting times ahead. #PendredPending."
In the pic, Cathal is seen showing off his ring while the pair enjoy some red wine.
Síomha is absolutely stunning in a pink top - and the couple look over the moon.
Fans of the star have flooded the comments.
One wrote: "Oh my days !!!!! Huge Congratulations you guys!! good woman yourself @siomhaniruairc."
"Unreal man. Huge congrats to you both," said another.
Cathal has starred in such films as Cardboard Gangsters and the Baywatch Movie since stepping back from the world of MMA.
He previously dated model Michele McGrath for four years.
