Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum declared on Saturday that the G20 Summit hosted by Saudi Arabia is the “greatest economic platform where the world can meet to confront and overcome common challenges.”
Speaking before the summit, he said: “The United Arab Emirates will continue to support all joint international initiatives that guarantee the establishment of a sustainable future for coming generations.”
He also praised Saudi Arabia for its excellent organization of the global event.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz kicked off the G20 Leaders Summit on Saturday, describing 2020 as an “extraordinary year” and urging the leaders of the major economies to address the vulnerabilities exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and rise to the challenge together.
