Duane Brown and D.J. Fluker listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game

The Seattle Seahawks listed two of their starting offensive linemen – left tackle Duane Brown (biceps) and right guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) – as doubtful for Sunday’s Week 6 contest against the Cleveland Browns.

Additionally, backup guard Ethan Pocic (back) and running back Rashaad Penny (hamstring) were both listed a questionable.

Fluker was not expected to play after suffering a hamstring injury early in last Thursday’s game against the Rams. He was replaced by Jamarco Jones, a tackle by trade, who filled in admirably in his first appearance at guard.

Jones is expected to start on Sunday in Fluker’s place, which leaves the Seahawks thin at depth at tackle – especially if Brown is out.

George Fant would likely start at tackle in Brown’s place, leaving the Seahawks with just Joey Hunt and Pocic – if he plays – available as depth on the offensive line.

Neither have much experience at tackle, so the Seahawks could look to make a roster move ahead of Sunday’s game to give them added depth.

Penny is expected to play, although his role has been small this year thanks to the strong performance of Chris Carson. If Penny cannot play, expect to see a heavy dose of C.J. Prosise whenever Carson needs a breather.

Nobody else – including Carson – was listed on the report.

An updated report with practice designations will come out later in the afternoon.
