There was a time when celebrities would fret over the idea of wearing an outfit even if it was one season old. But thanks to the likes of Zendaya and Dua Lipa, wearing outfits from a designer's archival collection is now the coolest thing.
Among the many iconic looks seen on the Grammys red carpet this year, Dua Lipa's outfit deserves a special mention. The songstress wore a black bondage dress from Versace's 1992 collection. The same outfit was also worn by supermodel Cindy Crawford at the 1992 VMAs.
Cindy Crawford took to social media to share her 1992 look with a caption of then and now. She also called the look Timeless.
Taken from the truly iconic "Miss S&M" collection of 1992, the vintage Versace look featured a transparent bustier with strap fastenings accented by golden buckles, and a fluid skirt.
Sharing more around the look, Donatella Versace took to her social media and wrote, "I have so many incredible memories of this 1992 bondage dress… and then I see it on you and it looks so new, Dua. You know just how to create iconic Versace moments!! Love you so much.
