Dua Lipa shocks fans with racy lyrics in leaked new song We're Good

She has become a household name thanks to her catchy pop beats.

But Dua Lipa’s latest tune takes a darker turn – by referencing cocaine in the lyrics.

The star’s young fans could be in for a shock listening to We’re Good, which likens a rowing couple to “sleeping and cocaine”.

Fans reacted with concern at a leaked version of the tune on the OJZMusic site.

Dua sings: “We’re not meant to be like sleeping and cocaine/ So let’s at least agree to go our separate ways/ How can I judge you when you’re with/ Somebody else as long as you swear/ You won’t be p****d when I do it myself/ Let’s end it like we should and say we’re good.”

The New Rules hitmaker has never spoken about drugs before.

After listening to the track, one fan said on Twitter : “Please, Dua, release the clean version of WG cause cocaine is just not it.”

And another added: “Dua coming for the controversy era with her cocaine lyric.”

Pop siren Dua, 25, is happily coupled up with Anwar Hadid – the brother of models Gigi and Bella.

But she does want to be a role model (instagram.com/dualipa)

Sources close to the star say she didn’t write the lyrics to We’re Good, and it isn’t about an ex-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Dua has revealed she goes tee-total to protect her voice.

She said: “I’ve also stopped drinking and I don’t smoke when I’m touring.”

Dua has previously spoken about the challenges of being a role model to so many.

In March 2019, she told ITV News: “As much as I have young fans, I have young girls that are the same age as I am.

“Being a role model, for me, I will do whatever is in my ability to be able to do what is right but at the same time, I am learning and I am not perfect.”
