Well, folks, it’s official: Dua Lipa has confirmed her engagement to Callum Turner, announcing the upcoming nuptials in a recent loved-up interview with British Vogue.
Granted, it didn’t take a degree in sleuthing to deduce the news, since the pop star has been proudly sporting what many thought was an engagement ring at public appearances in recent months.
Lipa’s official confirmation, however, is music to the ears of everyone eagerly awaiting the inevitable wedding pics, but in the meantime the singer is just plain ol’ excited.
“Yes, we’re engaged,” Lipa confirmed. “It’s very exciting.”
Lipa went on to humbly brag about the engagement ring she’s been wearing since December, when she casually shared an image of herself with the new bling and promptly sent engagement rumours into overdrive.
“I’m obsessed with it,” she said of the rock.
“It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
For now, Lipa said she and Turner — who were first romantically linked in January of 2024 — are simply basking in their engagement glow, and haven’t yet nailed down any wedding deets.
“Callum’s shooting”, she said of her actor fiancé, known for his role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise as well as my own romantic fantasies.
“So we’re just enjoying this period.”
Regardless, Lipa said she’s now envisioning what her inevitable nuptials might look like, despite not ever feeling like a Bridezilla as a young girl.
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be,” she said.
“All of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”.

The “Levitating” singer was also asked about her plans for a family and children (can’t a girl just be engaged for two seconds?!), but said that’s a question for her future self.
“It’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time,” she said.
“I think it’s just one of those things that’s going to happen when it happens.”
In a final note on her engagement, Lipa reflected on love itself, sending a dagger to the heart of anyone who can’t even get a reply back on Tinder (me).
“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling,” she said.
Yeah, sounds lovely.
