Dua Lipa hoping Dex the dog won't interrupt Brits performance like he does her yoga

Hopefully, little Dexter hasn’t been quite as helpful during Dua Lipa’s Brits rehearsals as he was during her yoga sessions.

The Levitating singer’s downward dog was interrupted by her own four-legged friend, Dex, ahead of her performance at tonight’s ceremony.

One Brits boss, Geoff Taylor, describes her London-themed set as “truly epic in scale” and “definitely worth tuning in to see”.

“She’s really going for it,” he told Music Week.

Elton John set for It's a Sin collaboration

Sir Elton John will team up with Years & Years star Olly Alexander for a surprise collaboration at the Brits.

Olly, who starred as Ritchie in Russell T Davies’ Channel 4 series It’s a Sin, recorded a moving version of the titular track by the Pet Shop Boys, which Elton is expected to perform with him tonight.

The It’s a Sin series told the story of the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.

Sir Elton’s AIDS Foundation has raised more than £400million.

Years & Years have been nominated for seven Brit Awards.

Brits host Jack Whitehall is girlfriend's "biggest support"

Kudos to comic Jack Whitehall for managing to be a support for his poorly girlfriend while juggling rehearsals for hosting tonight’s Brits.

After Roxy Horner was hospitalised last week with an auto-immune disease, she praised Jack, who she started dating last year, for being her “biggest support”.

Roxy, who was discharged last night, said: “I’m so lucky and grateful for my man.

“I don’t know what I would have done this past year without you.”

Don't you know who I am?

In a fantastic use of “don’t you know who I am?” Spice Girl Mel C admits she once tried to use her fame to get through passport control.

Mel had forgotten her daughter’s birth certificate, which was required as they have different surnames.

“I just said: ‘ Google me,’” Mel admits, a tad embarrassed.

She adds: “They are not very impressed at passport control in Germany when you say, ‘Google me’.”

Mel also revealed she and Alan Carr have holidayed together, singing karaoke in Magaluf, and once gatecrashed a wedding together.

On his Life’s a Beach podcast, she says: “We’d had a few tipples. We were dancing to Madonna with the bride. I started sobering up, thinking, ‘What am I doing? Where am I?’”

Another good time for Googling.
