DT Vincent Valentine suffers apparent leg injury

The Arizona Cardinals appear to have suffered the first potentially serious injury of training camp. Defensive tackle Vincent Valentine left practice on Friday with an apparent injury to his knee or leg. He went down after a play and had to be helped off the field by trainers.

For those in attendance, some thought it was veteran Corey Peters to begin with. He wears No. 98. It was Valentine, though, who wears No. 96.

If Valentine has to miss any extended practice time because of the injury, it would leave the Cardinals with only eight healthy defensive linemen.
