DT Daylon Mack is first Ravens 2019 NFL draft pick to sign

The Baltimore Ravens announced they’ve officially signed 17 undrafted free agents to contracts. But it’s not just the guys that didn’t get drafted putting ink on paper. According to his Twitter account, fifth-round pick Daylon Mack signed his rookie contract with the Ravens today.

One of eight picks for Baltimore in last week’s draft, Mack was selected in the fifth round (No. 160 overall).

With rookie contract amounts being slated already, it’s not uncommon for draft picks to sign quickly. Mack is set to earn about $570,000 in 2019 and $2.8 million over the life of his four-year rookie contract, according to Over the Cap.

Baltimore has done well getting their draft picks signed ahead of training camp each year. Since the Ravens are holding their rookie minicamp, it’s likely Mack is just the first draft pick to sign this weekend.
