Dry January is such an arduous process that it's presumable a punishment for criminal offences in some parts of the world.
It is, of course, a mistake to begin with: the beginning of the year is the world at its bleakest. If ever there was a time to drink, this is it. And yet – you've started. The half-way point is drawing close. February's celebratory gin and tonic is in sight.
Avoiding booze doesn't have to mean avoiding bars, friends, or flavour. London's non-alcoholic offerings are better than ever: no need to stick with tonic 'n' lime. In fact, the eight serves in the gallery above are decent enough that they could concievably find their way in a night for even the most dedicated drinker. Try it: the morning after will be grateful.
