Drunken Australian tourist claims she doesn't remember Zombie Bike Ride attack on pensioner

An Australian tourist has claimed she does not remember attacking a 68-year-old cyclist taking part in an annual Zombie Bike Ride because she was drunk.

Prue Harvey, 32, reportedly shouted "fall, bitch" before pushing Linda Malcolm as she rode in the parade in Florida Keys.

Ms Malcolm's daughter told police Ms Harvey was running between the bikes and gave one family "dirty looks" before shoving her mother.

She was subsequently arrested a felony battery charge.

The police report said Ms Harvey, of Yamba in New South Wales, was in town for a wedding. Jail records did not list a lawyer.

A conviction on the battery charge could reportedly see Ms Harvey jailed for up to five years and fined $5,000 (£3,800).

Police noted that she "had no recollection of the above incident".

They added in a report: "She smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage. She was at a bar earlier and was unable to recall anything she had done after 1pm."

Harvey told them she had been drinking and could not remember anything, they said.
