A drunk soldier who exposed himself to a nightclub worker has been fined nearly £1,000 for the seedy stunt.
Elliot Whelpton slapped his penis out onto a ledge and told the staff member: "I've not got a ticket, but I've got a d***."
The soldier, who is based at Leuchars Station in Fife, left the female worker stunned after refusing to pay his way into the club.
Sheriff Paul Brown described the incident as a "disgusting offence" and noted that his behaviour had caused great distress to his victim.
He added: "I am also mindful of punishment in terms of your army career. I note you have no previous convictions."
The sheriff fined Whelpton £990 and said he would not impose a community payback order as it would "deprive the army of your service."
Fiscal depute Rachel Hill told Dundee Sheriff Court that Whelpton was on a night out with friends when they turned up outside the Underground nightclub in the city.
Whelpton was asked to pay the entry fee, but refused and immediately pulled out his penis and placed it on a ledge in front of the woman.
The 29-year-old admitted exposing himself on 25 January last year and was given 28 days to pay the fine in full.
The court was told that the entire incident at the club's cloakroom area was captured on CCTV and subsequently reported to police.
He pled guilty on the day he was due to stand trial to committing an act of public indecency by exposing himself to the woman, brandishing his penis in her direction and resting it on a ledge in front of her.
