ORLANDO, Fla. _ A mother was arrested Sunday on suspected drunken driving charges after Orlando police say she fled from the scene of an accident, according to an arrest affidavit.
Witnesses told officers they saw Luvasia McCreary, 26, driving a Chevrolet Malibu around 5 p.m. on West Colonial Drive near Tampa Avenue when she hit another car, the report said.
She kept driving and stopped at a nearby intersection. She said she was coming from Applebee's where she drank two margaritas, the report said.
She blew a .147 _ the legal limit is .08.
McCreary said she "loved her kids" and drank a lot because of her insecurities.
The four children, ranging in age between 7 and 11 months old, were not hurt. Two of the children were in the front seat when the airbag deployed, the report said.
She was taken to the Orange County Jail on DUI property damage, DUI while accompanied by a minor and leaving the scene of a crash charges. She has since bonded out.
