Drunk man refused boarding at East Midlands Airport for 'unacceptable behaviour'

A man who had too much to drink was refused his flight at East Midlands Airport and later arrested by police. On Saturday, April 15, a man who had ‘overindulged’ was refused boarding his flight at EMA.

Due to the man’s ‘unacceptable behaviour’ East Midlands Airport police arrested him for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

East Midlands Airport Police warned that people should ‘fly responsibly’ or they could ruin a holiday, divert a plane, cause a delay, cancel a flight or go to jail.

East Midlands Airport Police said: “This afternoon an adult male who had 'overindulged' was refused flight boarding and due to the manner of his wholly unacceptable behaviour he was arrested for being drunk & disorderly in a public place.

“Fly responsibly or you could pay the price. One too many is all it takes.....”
