NAVI MUMBAI: A 28-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a woman on a local train on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old woman and her husband were in the luggage compartment. At Mansarovar, the accused, Akshay More who lives in Kamothe and works as a security guard, touched her inappropriately, said the railway police. Her husband caught hold of the accused and beat him up while others in the compartment went to the woman’s rescue, said senior inspector Sambhaji Katare.
A criminal offence has been rgistered at Panvel railway police outpost. The accused was drunk, said the police.
