MUMBAI: A passenger who was on board a Doha-Bengaluru flight was arrested on Saturday for allegedly creating a ruckus midflight, forcing the aircraft to make an emergency landing in Mumbai.
The flyer, Sarfuddin Ulwar, was drunk and had behaved in an unruly manner with airline crew
and other passengers, said officials of Sahar police station.
An officer said Ulwar, who hails from Kerala, had consumed liquor althoug h drinking is prohibited on the flight. “He misbehaved with a woman crew member and hurled expletives at co-passengers.
