A driver found to be nine times over the legal drinking and driving limit was lucky to escape injury following a scary crash.
Gardai from the Naas roads policing division recently responded to a call for a suspected drunk driver.
And upon finding them, not only were they found to be nine times above the legal alcohol limit, but the car was flipped on its side in what could have been a tragic situation.
The driver was arrested at the scene, and they were very lucky to have not been seriously injured.
Sharing the shocking pictures, an Garda Siochana said: "This suspected 'drunk driver' apprehended by Naas Roads Policing recently was very lucky to escape injury.
"Arrested & found to be 9 times legal alcohol limit. Investigations ongoing. Never ever drink & drive."
