A drunk woman abandoned her six-year-old nephew in the street to go to a friend's house and drink vodka.
The little boy was found in a distressed state wandering around when he should have been in the care of his auntie Alicia Robinson.
He had no idea where he was or if he was safe, a court heard.
When police arrived at the property where Robinson was getting drunk in Moldgreen, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, she shouted: "Shut your f*****g cakehole".
She then bit a police officer, sinking her teeth into their middle finger, Examiner Live reports.
The 25-year-old of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour, assault by beating of an emergency worker and being drunk in charge of a child.
Her solicitor said that she has a problem with alcohol.
Samuel Poniah, prosecuting, told Kirklees magistrates that the string of offences occurred on April 22.
He said: "The defendant was asked to look after her nephew who is six while her sister was out for the day.
"She was planning to give him back at the end of the day. The defendant then went to Ravensnowle Road and whilst there drunk vodka."
Later that evening at 10.30pm police attended at the address and found Robinson in an intoxicated state.
Mr Poniah said: "The defendant was loud and aggressive. She said: 'You'll have to manhandle me, bro' and 'Who are you f*****g talking to?'
"The defendant became more and more aggressive, shouting: 'Shut your f*****g cakehole'."
She was given one last chance to stop swearing and replied: "F***k it." A police van was requested but the officers struggled to get her inside.
Mr Poniah said: "One had his hand close to the defendant's face and she bit the officer's middle finger, causing a sharp shooting pain."
The officer told Robinson to stop biting him as he moved away.
Mr Poniah said: "Further police came and spotted a distressed child in the street.
"He was supposed to be in the care of the defendant who was drunk and had no idea where he was or if he was safe."
Magistrates were told that Robinson's last conviction was in 2015 for criminal damage.
She also had a conviction for wasting police time for which she was handed a suspended jail sentence.
Her solicitor Ian Whiteley said: "Clearly drink is an issue."
Magistrates decided that they needed a full Probation report prior to her sentencing.
This will take place on August 7 and she was granted unconditional bail in the meantime.
