AUBURN HILLS, Mich. _ Andre Drummond delivered great energy Wednesday.
And the Detroit Pistons followed.
Drummond played well against the Miami Heat with 18 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and four blocked shots in the Pistons' 107-84 victory at the Palace.
He thoroughly outplayed Heat star center Hassan Whiteside, as the Pistons (7-9) snapped a four-game losing streak.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope delivered 22 points and Tobias Harris added 17.
Beno Udrih contributed 12 points and five assists off the Pistons bench.
Tyler Johnson led the Heat (4-10) with 17 points. Whiteside was held to six points and eight rebounds _ the first time this season he's failed to gather double figures in rebounds.
Pistons came out roaring, jumping to a 28-13 lead after a Drummond layup.
But the Heat cut the deficit to three at 33-30 at the 7:25 mark of the second quarter on a Rodney McGruder.
The Pistons regained control and took a 56-42 lead into halftime. Their largest lead was 28 points.
