Gardai made a peculiar discovery while carrying out searches in West Dublin on Wednesday.
A small amount of drugs were seized and the shell of a stolen car was also found as well as its engine block.
The searches were carried out in Ballyfermot and its not known if any arrests were made.
A spokesperson said: "Gardaí in Ballyfermot carried out a number of searches yesterday.
"During the searches they recovered a the shell of a vehicle that was stolen in July 2019. An engine block believed to be stolen was also recovered.
"A small quantity of suspected MDMA and cannabis herb was also recovered."
