Drugs haul worth £4.5k seized by police at Glasgow Queen Street station

A man in possession of £4,500 worth of drugs has been arrested at Glasgow Queen Street Station.

The 47-year-old was arrested on Monday morning in connection with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug at the station.

British Transport Police seized the drugs and arrested the man. He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Tuesday).

British Transport Police Detective Sergeant David Ferguson said: “This result shows how we have been working to actively reduce the supply and possession of drugs on the railway network.
