One brazen driver was still smoking a joint as he was being pulled over by police.
Officers spotted a man behind the wheel of a 4x4 smoking cannabis on Friday.
Despite being stopped by the police, the drug driver continued to smoke as they made their way to his car.
'It goes without saying, he failed a roadside drug test for cannabis,' said police in a Facebook post today.
GMP Bury South posted: "This driver was still smoking a joint when stopped tonight by the Transport Unit and goes without saying, failed a roadside drugs test for cannabis.
"He also failed to provide a sample of blood in custody and now faces an obligatory ban with costs at court."
