A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after two people were hurt in a car crash.
The emergency services were called out to Pilch Lane in Dovecot at around 5.35pm last night following reports of an accident.
Police said the accident involved three vehicles. Paramedics and the fire service also attended.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed they sent a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances to the scene.
The spokesperson said that two people were taken to hospital by ambulance . It is thought the injuries were not life threatening.

There was a police cordon in place after the accident as emergency workers attended.
A police spokesperson said to the ECHO : "We were called at 5.35pm last night to reports of a three vehicle slight injury collision.
"A 45 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs."
