A drug-driver spotted 'hitting himself in the face' and 'weaving all over the road' in east Manchester has been arrested.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit stopped the Ford vehicle after the driver was seen 'chewing his lips and hitting himself in the face'. The 'wide-eyed' driver was arrested in Gorton.
Greater Manchester Police tweeted: "The wide eyed driver of this vehicle was hitting himself in the face, chewing his lips & weaving all over the road when he passed #RPU, @GMPGorton.
"Vehicle stopped & driver found to be severely unfit to drive through drugs. Driver arrested #S4 bloods taken & FIT completed #fatal4."
