Drug driver arrested after smashing BMW into front garden

A drug driver has been arrested after crashing a BMW into a front garden.

Greater Manchester Police officers in the Bolton North area posted about the incident that happened just before 5pm on Friday evening.

Pictures show the black BMW on a front lawn in Tetbury Drive, Bolton. A road sign can also be seen in the garden.

They posted: "A male has been arrested after crashing a vehicle in Brieghtmet.

"Just before 5pm, officers were called to reports of a vehicle which had crashed on Tetbury Drive. The driver remained on the scene until officers arrived.

"The 26-year-old driver was tested for drugs and found to be under the influence of cocaine. He was subsequently arrested and taken into police custody to provide a specimen of blood for evidential analysis."
