Drug dealers dump remains of abandoned cannabis farm on side of the road

The remains of a huge cannabis farm have been dumped on the side of the road in Collyhurst.

Drug dealers appear to have abandoned the farm and its workings and after harvesting the crop.

The pile of waste includes shrivelled cannabis plants, white plastic sheeting and ducting.

It was dumped at the roadside on Dalton Street.

A Manchester council spokesman said: " We have received reports of a fly-tip in the Dalton Street area and this offence will be investigated and cleared.

"We urge anybody with information which could help us to trace the culprits to contact us via www.manchester.gov.uk/flytipping."
