A drug dealer lost control of his car full of cocaine and smashed into a line of traffic during a daring high-speed police chase.
Ricardo Cotteral, 32, was spotted by police driving at high speed along a road towards Nottingham City Centre on the evening of May 22.
Footage shows him losing control of his VW Golf and clipping a kerb before ploughing into three cars waiting at traffic lights.
He then leapt out of the wrecked car and ran to a nearby family home to hide from police.
He was eventually caught when officers were alerted by somebody inside the house signalling from an upstairs window.
Cotteral ran away again and tried to escape in another car but police arrested him.
When his car was searched by police a large quantity of cocaine was found near the passenger seat.
Cotteral, of St Ann's, Nottingham admitted dangerous driving, possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of a class B drug.
He was jailed for three-and-a-half years at Nottingham Crown Court last Friday and banned from driving.
Detective Constable Rebecca Brosgarth, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Cotteral was not only driving around with a very large quantity of cocaine in his car; he was also driving in a reckless and dangerous way that placed other road users at risk.
"It is no exaggeration to say that he could quite easily have caused death or serious injury to other road users with his reckless and selfish actions that day - not to mention the very great harm caused by his illicit trade in drugs.
"I am pleased he has now been jailed and would also like to pay tribute to the response officers who did such a great job to bring him into custody."
