Drop-in clinics for covid booster open across Falkirk

Drop-in clinics for the coronavirus booster vaccine are open across Falkirk this week.

On Monday, December 27 and Tuesday, December 28, there will be four different centres open between 8.30am and 7pm.

These will be Stirling Health and Care Village, the Pathfoot Building at Stirling University, Falkirk Community Hospital and Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre.

Then on Wednesday, December 29 and Thursday, December 30, there will be a drop-in clinic at Forth Valley Royal Hospital which will run between 9am and 4pm both days.

It comes as the Scottish Government attempts to get the public #BoostedByTheBells to limit the spread of the Omicron variant.

Those aged 16 and 17-years-old can also attend these drop-in clinics for their second dose if it has been at least 12 weeks since their first and they have not tested positive for Covid-19 during the past 12 weeks.

Those who are eligible can either turn up or book an appointment online here.
