A new highway code rule could mean that drivers will get a hefty fine if parked the wrong way.
The rule - which changed earlier this year - has created a new hierarchy for all road users, including pedestrian, vehicles and even horses where relevant.
Under the new system, pedestrians are always given priority even when crossing or at a junction, Bedforshire Live reports.
