Drivers can expect more roadworks headaches as two of Wishaw’s busiest roads will be temporarily closed.
Glasgow Road, from the junction of Netherton Street (Heathery roundabout) to the junction of Bridge Street, will be closed from Wednesday, July 10, to Sunday, July 14.
This to allow for carriage resurfacing works to be carried out with bus services set to be affected by the closure.
On the following day, Monday, July 15, roadworks are due to begin on Coltness Road, from its junction with Till Street to Hazeldean Crescent.
The work in Coltness is set to last until Friday, July 19, with a new road surface set to be laid.
