Bad drivers have been shamed by paramedics whose life-saving work is being "delayed due to inconsiderate parking".
Paramedics out on call in Sandwell, in the Black Country, pointed out one driver who was double-parked on a road which delayed the ambulance passing.
When every second counts, it could mean the difference between life and death, a spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
An image of the bad parking was shared on Twitter after the picture was taken by a paramedic on shift, a statement said, reports BirminghamLive.
A spokesperson for the service added that parking considerately could make all the difference when out on a life-saving call.
They said: "In an emergency, every minute counts. Paramedic Adam sent this in after being delayed getting to a job in Blackheath."
The statement continued: "Please park considerately, as it could be the difference to saving a life."
Last November in a separate case, a dangerous driver who repeatedly obstructed an ambulance by overtaking it was locked out of his flat after leaving his key inside.
A viral clip shows Albert Butler blocking emergency workers after the ambulance driver had switched on the blue lights and overtaken the red Suzuki Vitara he was driving.
However, the 38-year-old motorist overtook the emergency vehicle, driving in front of it and slowing it down.
Butler obstructed the path of the emergency service vehicle again as it continued by applying the brakes heavily, weaving into the centre of the highway, and encroaching on the wrong side of the road.
Following an investigation carried out by Thames Valley Police Butler, of Windermere Road, Reading was charged with dangerous driving and obstructing/hindering an emergency worker.
He pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to complete 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 200 hours of unpaid work over an 18-month period.
