Drivers 'queueing for McDonald's' causes delays in Nottingham

Delays have been reported around Trent Bridge as drivers queue for McDonald's.

A tweet from Nottingham City and County Council's traffic control centre said there were issues in the area as cars queued for the drive-thru in West Bridgford.

They said: "Radcliffe Road outbound traffic is slow-moving due to vehicles queuing for entry to McDonalds.

"This is causing tailbacks on Trent Bridge. Allow extra time for your journey."

Google maps shows delays on the A6011 Radcliffe Road as well as Trent Boulevard this afternoon as drivers are warned to avoid the area or allow extra time for journeys.
