A man who travelled to Tenby to buy a bouncy castle has been fined for breaching coronavirus restrictions.
The 24-year-old, from Llanybydder, was ordered to pay more than £800 at Carmarthenshire Magistrates' Court, in Llanelli, on Tuesday, October 20, after breaking Covid-19 rules.
The incident occurred during the first lockdown period in April this year when the defendant was stopped on the A477 in Tenby by police.
He told officers from Dyfed-Powys Police that he was travelling with a friend "in order for his friend to purchase a bouncy castle".
The defendant was ordered to pay a total of £811, which consisted of a £660 fine, £85 in costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
A man from Birmingham has also been ordered to pay more than £800 after travelling to Pembrokeshire "to fix his girlfriend's car".

The 48-year-old was fined £660 at Carmarthenshire Magistrates' Court on Thursday, October 22, after making the journey to west Wales in May this year.
The defendant had travelled from Birmingham before being stopped by police on the A477 in the village of Llanteg.
He was ordered to pay a total of £811, which consisted of a £660 fine, £85 in costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
