A MAJOR Scottish road has been closed following a vehicle crash in the early hours of Wednesday.
The A9 is closed southbound between the A820 and Keir Roundabout while vehicle recovery is conducted.
Police Scotland has said that the incident involved two heavy-good vehicles (HGV) and both drivers have been taken to hospital.

The road may reopen to single-lane traffic if police are able to safely clear part of the road.
Diversions are in place, with drivers asked to turn on to the B8033 to continue southbound travel.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: "The A9 is closed southbound between the A820 and Keir Roundabout following a two-vehicle crash, involving HGVs, which happened around 4.20am on Wednesday, 17 June.
"Both drivers have been taken to hospital.
"It will remain closed or reduced to one lane to allow for vehicle recovery. Diversions are in place."
