Shocking footage emerged of a car driver swerving all over the road and putting other motorists at risk.
It was taken on Wednesday morning by a recovery trick, on the A565 as it leaves the Formby bypass and heads towards Ince Blundell and Thornton.
The speeding Ford Focus can be seen tail-gating a skip hire truck and veering from side to side into the path of oncoming traffic.
At one point the white-coloured car also mounts the kerb as it continues to be driven erratically.
This goes on until a roundabout is reached, when the Focus nearly collides with another car.
It is not known who was driving the car or whether they were male or female.
The footage was taken by an employee from Southport-based Norwood Vehicle Solutions, who said: "The car was filmed on the Formby by-pass and then through Ince Blundell.
"It was so dangerous, I couldn't believe my eyes.
"If someone like that had been heading towards me, I'd be really worried."
Since posting the video on Facebook, the employee has been approached by Merseyside Police to ask if it had been reported.
