Drivers 'blown away' by little known hack that makes wearing a seatbelt more comfortable

Drivers have been left 'blown away' by a simple hack that makes wearing a seatbelt a lot more comfortable.

Tiktok user Carfavourites amazed motorists after sharing their seatbelt wisdom in a video that highlights a 'little-known' tip many motorists didn't know about. In the short clip, someone can be seen demonstrating how to adjust your seatbelt so it is at a level that suits your height and angle - and people were mind blown.

The nifty hack would be of particular use to those who are quite tall or quite short, with the adjustment making driving and being a passenger in a car much more snug, the Mirror reports. One fellow TikTok user jokingly commented that they'd been choking in the car all this time as their belt had been strangling them while they got from A to B.

You can tell when a seatbelt isn't fitted correctly if it sits uncomfortably against your ear or neck. But now many people will no longer have to suffer.

Since posting the clip, it has been liked more than 61k times, with hundreds commenting to express their amazement and admit they had no idea it was a function in their car.

@X16HNA commented: "Omg I'm going to check when I finish work my belt always scrapes my neck." Baby Grandma wrote: "Oh wow, I just did it and it works." @User2117331908660 joked: "In my defence, I haven’t been driving for that long."

Adam admitted: "I’ve never knew this but only been driving 4-5 years." Angeline said: "Short girl prob, so we have to know this one 1st thing after we got our licence."

@Hlengiwe023 put: "Am in the car now lol I just checked and laughed." Heidi said: "My daughter found this out recently by accident, who knew?"
