The 61st running of the Daytona 500 was going along pretty well until, well, it wasn’t as 21 cars were involved in a fiery crash with just 10 laps to go.
There’s always chaos down the stretch of the Daytona 500 but this was pretty crazy and brought the race to a halt for a quite a bit as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Thankfully all the drivers involved were able to get out of their cars and it didn’t appear like any of them suffered any serious injuries because it sure looked pretty gnarly on TV.
