A driver has been arrested after cops stopped him in Bo'ness to investigate a faulty exhaust on his car - only to find he was also drunk.
Officers pulled the vehicle over on the A904 Grangemouth Road in the town this morning and discovered he was well over the drink-drive limit.
Cops say that it was noticeable while speaking to the 42-year-old that he had been drinking.

Posting on Twitter, Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit said: "Stirling Road Policing stopped this car in the Bo'ness area earlier due to a faulty exhaust.
"Upon speaking to the male driver it was apparent he had consumed alcohol, he then went on to fail a roadside breath test and was arrested."
