A motorist with 68 points on their licence is just one of a shocking number of reckless drivers still on the road.
A freedom of information request revealed that, in total, 1,278 people with at least 12 points are still allowed behind the wheel.
There are now calls for the Conservatives to crackdown on careless drivers to keep roads safer.

The new figures, obtained by the Liberal Democrats, also reveal over a million Brits have at least one point on their licence.
Amassing 12 or more can result in a ban.
Lib Dem Transport Spokesperson Sarah Olney said: “The Government should examine whether the right systems are in place to put the brakes on problem drivers.
"With fewer drivers on the road than ever before, now is the time to consider what can be done.”
Top judge Lord Justice Holroyde, who chairs the Sentencing Council, has previously justified why so many people have not been stripped of their licence.
He said: “There are legitimate reasons why this might happen: the law allows for such a disqualification to be avoided or reduced for reasons of exceptional hardship.”
