A driver tested positive for drugs following a two-car collision in Dublin yesterday.
Following the collision, the driver was arrested by gardai operating in the south central area of the city.
Thankfully, there were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Gardai said: "DMR South Central RPU: Dealt with this two car collison yesterday. One driver tested positive for drugs and was arrested. Thankfully no injuries."
Another driver was also caught driving more than 50km/h above the speed limit on one of Dublin's most popular and busiest roads.

The car was detected going 134km/h in an 80km/h zone along the Chapelizod bypass.
The driver was then issued with a fixed charge penalty notice.
Gardai said: "DMR South Central RPU: Car detected at 134km/h in 80km/h zone at Chapelizod bypass. FCPN issued."
