A driver was taken to hospital after a lorry overturned on a busy road in Bolton.
The lorry shed its load after the driver crashed into the wall of a bridge on Tonge Moor Road, at 12.40pm on Monday.
The road was closed off for several hours following the smash.
The driver escaped with minor injuries.
A spokesman for GMP said: "We were called at 12.40pm to reports a vehicle was laid on its side on Tonge Moor Road.
"There doesn't appear to be any serious injuries."
A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance Service said: "We took a male patient to hospital."
GMP Traffic tweeted about the incident and warned of long delays in the area.
The tweet, put up at 2.34pm, said: "First one of the afternoon ... RTC Tonge Moor Road Bolton.

"HGV turned over resulting in the loss of its load.

"Currently the road is open while we await the recovery of the truck. Please expect slight delays due to slow moving traffic."
